Jonathan’s Impact’s mission is to represent Jesus Christ in our provision for the ongoing spiritual, physical, emotional, and educational needs of the orphans at the Chileleko Home and throughout Zimbabwe, Africa. We seek leadership and direction from the Holy Spirit and input from our ministry partners on the field in Zimbabwe in our mission endeavors.
To communicate the love of Jesus Christ to African orphans through evangelism and provision for their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs, continuing the vision of Jonathan DiLeo to care for the orphans of Africa.
Stephen and Cassy DiLeo are the founders of Jonathan’s Impact Orphan Ministries. Stephen earned a Master of Business Administration degree in 1988 from the University of New Orleans. He has worked as a clinical research consultant for the last 24 years. Cassy obtained a Masters in Marital and Family Counseling from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2001. She presently works for RKM Primary Care as a school based mental health provider. Steve and Cassy are evangelical Christians and attend Field Church of Mandeville, LA. Steve and Cassy have been gratefully married for 31 years and are the proud parents/stepparents of Kathryn DiLeo Copple, Michael DiLeo, and the late Jonathan DiLeo.
Joining Steve and Cassy as founding board members of Jonathan’s Impact are Gregory and Kerry Adams. Greg has been employed by Ecolab for 10 years; he is a District Manager for the New Orleans & Jackson market area. He has also served honorably in the U.S. Army. He has a small farm in Isabel, LA where he, his wife, and four children live. Greg has served in Christian ministry for the past 10 years as a youth minister and church elder. Greg & Kerry homeschool their four children: Mason, Annabelle, Ashlyn, and Kaleigh, who graduated this year. Greg has visited the orphans in Africa on two separate occasions.
Also joining Jonathan’s Impact in 2014 are Emilio and Sara Russo. Emilio is a husband to his beautiful wife Sara and father of four beautiful children: Giovanni, Mia, Liliana, and Luca. He works as a physician at Our Lady of the Angels hospital in Bogalusa, LA, where he serves as Program Director of the LSU Rural Family Medicine Residency and Chief of Staff for the hospital. Sara has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. With the birth of their first child, she left her nursing career for the adventure of being a stay-at-home mom. She is also actively involved in children’s ministry in their local church community. Emilio and Sara have had recurring experiences in various foreign and local mission endeavors and are excited about the opportunity to partner with Jonathan’s Impact.
